The organizers of the 2002 Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival wisely chose Chris Roberts-Antieau to design the poster for their 30th Anniversary edition. A Michigan native, Chris has achieved incredible success and her work has become highly sought after by well-known celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Katy Perry, Ben Folds and most recently, Mindy Kailing.
This poster features a stylized illustration of a five-piece band performing on stage, along with the festival lineup, the date of the performances and the venue. The festival's corporate sponsors are also identified in a small strip along its bottom edge. The poster measures 18.5" x 24".
You will receive an unframed poster; the photo of the framed poster is for illustrative purposes only.
Mr. Peter Andrews, the Executive Director and President of the Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival from 1972 - 1994 (and author of the e-Book "the Joint was Jumpin': A Promoter's Story"), has authorized the Ann Arbor Blues Festival to liquidate a portion of his collection of original posters from the AABJF. 30th Anniversary Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival Concert Poster (2002) Original
Most posters from this collection are in excellent to very good condition, especially considering how old they are. These are vintage posters, however, and to varying degrees may show evidence of their age. In some cases, wrinkles, creases, folds, fading or discoloration may be evident. No two posters will be alike in this respect.
